WINTER MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

WINTER MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY

It’s been an up and down winter here in Hamilton, Canada where I live.  It’s been mild and then a typical Canadian winter of subzero temperatures and snow.  Yesterday was a mild day where the snow from the day and night before started to melt.  As we were having lunch, my wife pointed out the beautiful ice and drops coming from the tree branches.  I wolfed down my food and raced outside with my 5D Mark II and my Canon 90mm TS-E lens for some run and gun macro nature photography.  Sometimes I love winter for it’s beauty but I definitely can’t wait till spring!  1/250 sec/ F4/ ISO 320
